The International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) has been set up to support a single, universally accepted, international qualification scheme, aimed at software and system testing professionals. An ISTQB certificate provides an internationally recognised qualification, which demonstrates a level of competence and professionalism.
The three day accredited course is leading up to the “Foundation Certificate in Software Testing” exam and complies with the requirements as set by ISEB and ISTQB.
The Event
This 3 day course will provide delegates with:
* An improved understanding of the fundamental principles of effective software testing and different testing terminology
* An understanding of the practical application of useful static and dynamic testing techniques and an overview of test management and available test tools
The course covers a wide range of topics including:
Fundamentals of Testing
* Why is testing necessary, What is testing? Testing Principles
* Fundamental Test Process & Psychological aspects of testing.
Testing throughout the Life Cycle
* Relationship between testing & development lifecycle models
* Test Levels (Unit, Integration, System & Acceptance)
